Well the start of another work week...the joys. My office heater is off as it was decent and warm last week, but this AM it is chilly. There is no use turning it on as I will be gone all afternoon (have a LS party in Circle tonight)--my fingers and hands are super cold---hoping my Dr. appointment holds for the 20th of this month....wishing we could get it all figured out sooner than later.
We had quite the weekend....Daddy came home from work on Saturday and we went with him to shoot his antelope. Shelby was pretty impressed until we got splattered while Daddy was gutting it (I know TMI)......she was excited to be with him for the afternoon though!
Then on Sunday we went to Brusett for the Turkey Shoot....Brad bought enough tickets to guarantee a turkey, but his shooting wasn't the best--oh well, we had a good time and Sweet Pea was wiped out PLUS Grandma has a turkey to cook for Thanksgiving too!
Today she will be getting her flu shot--she needs her Hep A (we got behind somehow on that one), but we are going to wait for that one later. Daddy will be taking her this afternoon, then tomorrow I have the day off due to Elections--hopefully her coughing will be better, but I think it is supposed to rain anyways! We will be off to Papa & Grandma's this weekend, so we are ALL chomping at the bit to "get out of dodge" for a while.......gotta play "bounce on the purple ball" before papa gets his surgery too!!!!! Just hope he's ready :-)
